Backyard Fun

This was just a random day that we were lucky enough to get a couple of hours of play time outside! (Very rare in Arkansas during the hot summer)

For those of you that see Rylee on a regular basis, you know that this is one of her many faces to go along with her drama queen attitude!

The kids were being a really big "help" while I tried to get some painting done!

We celebrated my 31st birthday!

First Day of School!! (Pre-School anyway)

This was the first day of school for the kids. YAY!! The last month of summer was torture for them! They were so ready for a change of scenery and more of a weekly routine (so was I) They are both having a really good time with new friends and teachers!

Rylee is in a Mother's Day Out program that is on every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 - 1:30. It is a class full of other 2 year olds and most of them are potty training (I dont know how the teacher does it) She LOVES her teacher! Everytime we get to school and she sees the teacher, she busts out in a full run and gives her a big hug!
Mitchell is in Pre-K this year! He goes everyday from 8:00 - 11:30. He loves going everyday and wishes it was on the weekends as well! I wish he would have the same feelings when he gets into Junior High but we all know what happens when they get older!! I'll take what I can get for now!

This day, the kids did a lot of dressing up! Quite fun (and entertaining)!

We got these cool Spider Man capes with a mask attached to them, while Lorne and I were in Cancun. At first the kids didn't want anything to do with them, but lately, they have changed their minds and it is a common occurance to see them wearing them!

Fishing in the Gulf

Lorne just got back from a fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico with his Dad, Brother-in-Law Brian and a few other close friends. (Durlings) He says he has advanced from a fisherman to an "angler" After 2 full days and 600 pounds of fish, they were ready to call it a day. They had so much fun they are already planning the trip for next year!

These are the group of fish from just day two. Day one was almost as productive as this one!

Our Independance Day!!!

Every year, the Vaclaw family puts on a firework show that hundreds of people show up to. This was the best year so far! It was a non-stop explosion of fireworks for a straight 27 minutes!
Rylee, Ellie and Evie's birthdays are all within 6 months of each other so we decided to dress them all alike this year.

Here is Mitchell with his cousin Logan.
Rylee and Evie, just havin' a good laugh!

Here is Mitchell again with another of his cousins, Mack!

We spent a lot of time at "Aunt Mamy's" awesome new house (its really their Aunt Amy)
Rylee and her cousin Ellie spent a great deal of time together. It was a daily occurance to get dressed up in one of the adults pairs of shoes. We also went out to "Papa's boat" out on Grand Lake in Oklahoma. We had the pleasure of spending some quality time with Lorne's brother Marcin and his wife Brittany.

We went to the Kiddie Park in Bartlesville, OK. Mitchell and Rylee had a blast with all of their cousins. This has got to be one of the coolest places for kids!!
